New Zealand is also called the Land of the Long White Cloud, and it consists of two large islands (North & South Island), and many other smaller islands in the southwestern Pacific. New Zealand is considered by some to be isolated from the whole world and therefore, the extraordinary flora and fauna of New Zealand attracts the eye like nothing else— awesome mountains and wonderful sea beaches. Kiwi is the world famous word from it’s unique citrus fruit that has made its name synonymous with the country. New Zealand is heavily dependent on trade, which mainly includes agricultural products like sheep & dairy products which are exported. Owing to the islands being surrounded by gurgling waters, New Zealand is one of the most beautiful countries in the world and travelers often feel closer to nature while in this most extraordinarily beautiful of countries.

Sea: The principal ports are Auckland, Dunedin, Lyttelton, Opua, Picton and Wellington, which are served by international shipping lines sailing from the USA and from Europe. A few cruise ships visit New Zealand, but there are no regular passenger ship services.
