Africa is second largest continent in the world after Asia. It is also the second most populous continent with over 800 million people living in the 54 countries that this vast continent includes. Africa is the largest of the three great southward projections from the main mass of the Earth's surface and has a coastline 26,000 km in length.
The African continent itself sustains a large number of native languages, which amounts to more than a thousand, though European languages have also found their place amongst the peoples due to colonisation.
The World Bank and UNO have begun many programs to help the countries in Africa, in its growth, and they are arguably on the road to sustainability. Although Africa is by far the worlds poorest inhabited continent, its natural beauty has made it the cynosure of the whole world, for, the valleys and the wild life that can be found here.
Tourists and travelers will experience what nature means when they land in Africa. Giraffes. Elephants and African Lions are some of the most famous animals to be found in Africa, and there are species of animals that are unique to the continent and cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Tourists will enjoy everything from Safari, to the Golden Beaches of South Africa to the wonderful warmth and generosity of its peoples.
