Barcelona is definatley the most active and cosmopolitan city of Spain. It is the second largest city of Spain, ideally situated at the Mediterranean Sea. This city offers some of the world’s most intriguing architecture thanks to Anton Gaudi. Some symbolic places of Barcelona definatley worth a visit include:

La Sagrada Familia: This is a truly breath taking gothic cathedral which has become a landmark to this city. It is the life long work of Anton Gaudi. Unfortunately Gaudi died in 1926 before he could ever finish his work and it is till today still being constructed.

Picasso Museum: This museum is definatley the most visited museum in Barcelona. Here you can see a lot of the works of Picasso dating back to the 1890’s. .
