| A quaint seaside oceanfront community centrally located on Vancouver Island. Parksville is a perfect gateway for easy access to many of the other surrounding communities in the area creating short day trips exploring the scenic island roads. The Parksville Village is decorated in pastel colors with flower baskets fronting many of the small shops, coffee houses, restaurants and bistros found throughout the village core. The village is centred around a sandy beach referred to as the Community Park. A very well maintained public park, popular with families. Availability of amenities "a good day on the beach" needs like a concession stand, children's playground, volleyball courts, water park, picnic tables, washrooms, grass and shaded areas and lots of sandy beach are onsite. |
