| Northern Spirit Lodge is accessible by road and is located on the Southern shore of scenic Lake Athapapaskow (Lake Athapap for short). Lake Athapap is approximately 32km long, 10km wide and can reach depths of 200' or more. This lake supports a wide variety of fish such as Walleye, Northern Pike and world class Lake Trout. Athapap's record Lake Trout was caught on a troll and weighted 63lb.! There are hundreds of beautiful lakes to chose from in our area, just name your fish and we'll take you to the right lake.
Five fully modern, clean, light house keeping units are available which sleep two to six people comfortably. Each unit is equipped with a modern kitchen - so you need not worry about bringing these things! Each unit also has modern water works; kitchen and bathroom sinks, flush toilets and showers. All towels, sheets, blankets and pillows are also supplied.
Boats with motors are available for rent on a daily basis. 18' Lund and 16' Alumarine boats equipped with 25-35hp motors will get you anywhere you want to go with speed and safety. Paddles, anchors and floatation cushions are supplied. Guide services are also available but, please call before you arrive so that we can arrange to have someone ready for your party. We also have our own boat launch and dock. |
