Winnipeg is very varied and diverse, whether it’s casinos, ballets, dining or clubbing that gets you going you will not be disappointed.

Dining in Winnipeg could be a challenge since you will be spoilt for choice. The variety in world-wide cuisine here is simply beyond belief. This is best manifested at the yearly Folklorama which is held every August all throughout the city. Here you can taste a variety of ethnic food and experience the folklore of many countries such as Poland, Greece, Germany and Italy.

This city is also famously known for it’s many musical events with music from Jazz and experimental rock at your local pub to hardcore techno or trance at the clubs.

Whilst in Winnipeg it’s always worth going for a relaxing stroll in Assiniboine Park and it’s marvelous zoo which is open daily.

Many are those immigrants who have settled here such as the French and the British which have contributed to a lot of this wonderful city’s architecture such as the Fort Rogue which was built by the French traders in 1738.
For a typical Canadian adventure why not attend one of the dog-sled races which are mostly held over the weekend.

If you think you have seen it all… just visit Victoria Beach or Winnipeg Beach for a day of beautiful white sand and relaxation. We do advise that these beaches can get slightly over-crowded but with over 80 kilometers of beach you’re sure to find a space for relaxation without being stampeded on by kids and people.
