| Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island Canada
Charlottetown is the capital of P.E.I and famously known as the home of ‘Anne of Green Gables’ and historically famous for being the ‘Cradle of the Confederation’. It is the central business district of P.E.I, however it feels more like a small charming town other then a capital city. Similarly to any capital city however, there are many shops, restaurants many of which serve delicious seafood and the entertainment here is very alive. If you are visiting Charlottetown anytime between late June to middle October make sure you visit the Charlottetown Festival.
Rockford Square is very picturesque and close to the square is St. Peter’s Anglican Church which is worth a visit.
If you are a seafood lover make sure you visit the Charlottetown International Shellfish Festival which is held in mid September. It is very entertaining and why not participate in one of the seafood eating competitions!
