Prince Edward Island, Canada

Prince Edward Island is situated in the Gulf of St. Lawrence and is the smallest province in Canada. First impression of this province is that it is very laid back and seems to be untouched by modern civilization, which makes this province very distinct from the rest. The first most important economic factor is the cultivation of potatoes and the second is tourism. The farming communities are very picturesque. P.E.I is divided into Prince, Queens and Kings. There are many things to keep you busy here from festivals, beaches, golf and scenic drives. The seafood here is abundant and just about the best seafood you will ever taste.

Queens offers some fine beaches and is home to the P.E.I National Park, here you can visit the Green Gables House which is situated in Cavendish and attracts many visitors all year round.
