Gibraltar is a multi-racial community so it follows that its range of restaurants reflects the tastes of its inhabitants. Yes, Gibraltar has a McDonalds, a Burger King and a Pizza Hut! It also has Indian, Maasai, Chinese, Moroccan, Kosher, Danish, French, Italian, Spanish and of course, British food too! There are a wide range of traditional British pubs, bars, pavement cafes, sandwich bars plus the delightful Sacarello's coffee house - on the lower floor of a coffee merchant's trading house. Also the Rock Hotel, Eliott Hotel and the Casino have fine restaurants open to the public. Seafood is the speciality of the restaurants in Marina Bay and Queensway Quay. Catalan Bay, an old fishing village on the East Side of the Rock, is also home to specialist restaurants offering fish fresh from the sea. Here is just a small selection of the many restaurants and bars you'll find on the Rock.
