| Destination Manawatu is a Regional Tourism Organisation responsible for the facilitation and co-ordination of marketing and promotional activities for the Manawatu District. We have a membership base comprising of activity, attraction, accommodation and tour operators as well as conference and events operators. Destination Manawatu has been strategically focused on building a strong platform on which to position the Manawatu Region for both the Domestic and International markets.
A continued focus on television advertising linking directly to major events in the district have proven highly successful in helping to build the district's profile. This coupled with a refocus on the conference market has helped grow visitor night numbers significantly - our key measure of growth in this industry. |
