| Nova Scotia, Canada
Nova Scotia which means ‘New Scotland’ is Canada’s maritime province and home to beautiful harbours, landscapes, seascapes and more fascinatingly, the world’s highest tide.
Many Scottish highlanders fled to Nova Scotia together with the French and the British, however the largest percentage of the people currently living here are of English descent. Many immigrants prosper in this province, thus why immigrants are so attracted to Nova Scotia.
The provincial capital is Halifax which sits on one of the world’s largest and most beautiful harbour. Connected through two suspension bridges, on the opposite side sits Dartmouth, a city more commonly known for it’s numerous lakes which in the winter months is the perfect venue for lake-top ice skating.
