| Extraordinary geographical position of Podgorica sited only a few kilometers from winter ski centers in the north and Mediterranean in the south has always made the city attractive for settlement, and for that reason the oldest settlements were formed on this area. Such position influenced fast development of Podgorica. The city became the center and crossroads
of all important
traffic arteries.
The mild climate embraced the city with luxuriant areas full of vineyards and bestowed it with mild winters and warm summers. You will be able here to enjoy beauties of numerous picnic grounds in the city itself and in its surroundings and nicely arranged hotels the terraces of which face the banks of five rivers on the sides of which Podgorica was erected. |
