Malaga, Spain

Malaga is an increasingly popular tourist hot spot. One of the main attractions being the great beaches of the nearby Costa del Sol. Although Malaga has become synonymous with endless sunshine and beaches, this city has much more to offer then just that. The Moors occupied this city till the mid fifteenth century, which have left behind highly interesting remains to manifest this. Pablo Picasso was born here and there are several museums that display his works of art, namely the Museum of Fine Arts. You definatley do not need to worry about food here, with numerous restaurants and bars that serve delicious typical Andalusian food such as tapas. Some of the places of interest include; the Teatro Cervantes, the Castle of Gibralfaro and just further down the hill you can also visit the Roman theatre. For those of you who love gardens the Paseo del Parque is a definite stop, this garden hosts beautiful tropical plants and trees. Some other famous centers located on the Coast of Malaga include; Marbella, Torremolinos, Fuengirola, San Pedro de Alcantara and Benalmadena.
