This region hosts a beautiful coast line that runs from the French border to Bilbao. The beautiful towns of Navarra namely Artajona are definatley worth a visit. They are charming picturesque towns surrounded by medieval walls. Navarra was also crossed by the pilgrim of the Way of Saint James which has now many monuments to manifest this. This region’s capital is Pamplona and is famously known for the event of the running of the bulls and many tourists make their way to participate in this activity on the 7th of July. The running of the bulls is part of the festival of Sanfermines as he particularly loved bull fighting. However Pamplona has more to offer for those of you who do not want to participate in the running of the bulls. The mountain ranges of this region are truly spectacular, and it is a historic medieval town with many museums and cathedrals to visit such as: Pampolna’s gothic cathedral, built between the 1300’s – 1500’s, the parks along the river and the ‘Burgos’ which are three small fortifcated towns.
