| La Palma, Canary Islands Travel & Tourism Search
La Palma is situated at the North West of the Canaries archipelago and a few hundred miles from the coast of Africa. Here you can witness one of the world’s largest volcanic crater measuring at a diameter of 9 kilometers. You will notice the abundant colour black throughout the island and the black beaches due to the volcanic rock and ashes. This colour is however in harmony with the colour blue from the sea and the green from the beautiful plants. These astounding groups of islands are all unique and drastically different from each other. They have a favorable climate which is very constant throughout the year and are more famously known for their beautiful beaches.

| Mountains and volcanoes, beaches and forests, a tropical rainforest, tiny villages and breathtaking views. On La Palma there is much to see in a small area.
La Palma is, according to many people, the most beautiful Canary island, unspoilt by tourism and ideal for rest, peace and quiet, walking and hiking. The island has many surprisingly different areas of natural beauty and enjoys a stable climate: pleasant temperatures in all seasons, warm in the winter, not too hot in the summer. |
