Berne’s old town centre was added to the UNESCO inventory of world culture heritage in 1983. This city is diverse and very unique and a definite favorite amongst travelers. There is always something going in Berne, from theatre to open air cinemas, events, clubs, pubs and discos. The Berne Natural History Museum is one of the favorites. This museum represents animals in their natural surroundings. It hosts the biggest diorama exhibit in Europe. One will also find ‘Barry’ the famous Saint Bernard dog which is definatley the highlight of the museum.
