La Rochelle is a fishing Port located on Bay of Biscay. Some of this town’s attractions start from the bay, in fact just at the old port we find three towers which were probably built by the English in the 13th century. There are also many fascinating Renaissance and medieval architectures in the old parts of town.
There is no international airport in Vendee. You can either land near Nantes or La Rochelle. Ryanair offers cheap flights from London to La Rochelle.
