| On this circular tour of Lüneburg Heath and surrounding regions you will come across countless natural spectacles as well as a number of places of cultural and historical interest. Ideal for the whole family and those cycling just for fun, the route is fairly flat with just the occasional hill here and there. Covering a total distance of approx. 900 km, the Lüneburg Heath Cycle Route has a modular structure and can be split into 6 separate tours of a more manageable length. Some sections of the route run alongside other long-distance cycle paths across a large area stretching from Lüneburg Heath to the River Elbe.
