Bunbury is a pleasant village with many old cottages and narrow winding lanes. The village life in Bunbury, focuses around its pubs, shops and the magnificent 13th-century St Boniface Church, located in the upper village. The church has a monument to Sir George Beeston who, at the age of 89, commanded the Dreadnought in the battle against the Spanish Armada.
