When you step into the theatre of dreams you're walking into more than a football stadium. It's been the focus for the passions of millions of fans around the world for 90 years. Even when the stands are empty, you can feel the electricity the players experience before they run out onto the pitch. It's not difficult to imagine the deafening roar of the crowd as you step into the theatre of dreams. The new museum charts the history of the Club from its origins, in 1878, as the Newton Heath (Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway) Cricket and Football club, to the present day.

Trafford at its northern tip is only a mile from Manchester Town Hall. It is in these northern areas where many of Trafford’s attractions lie; these include Manchester United, the Imperial War Museum North and HMS Bronington.
