Speke is a suburb of Liverpool where Paul MacCartney was born and grew up and it is where George Harrison moved to when he was 6 years old. Speke is also the location of the rapidly growing Liverpool John Lennon Airport, which was named after the Beatle in 2002 following an opening by HM The Queen and Yoko Ono.
