Apart from being an international hub and the main artery to European politics, Brussels has a lot to see from any era you are after. It has been ruled by many foreign powers such as the Romans, Germans and Spanish. International companies are also flocking to Brussels and building their basis here which is resulting in a city full of modern and avant-garde buildings. The architecture here is varied and has a beautiful concoction of Gothic, Art Nouveau, Baroque, Art Deco and modern. Therefore the streets in Brussels are bound to leave an everlasting impression on anyone who is interested in any of these architectures. Brussels is also a hub for transportation, there are high speed trains which will take you anywhere locally or internationally within a shorter then average time. Thus travelling in Brussels is quicker then ever and punctual to the second, making finding excuses for showing up late even harder!

Apart from the astounding architecture and political and business hub, Brussels offers many ways of relaxation starting from its never-ending list of gourmet and high quality restaurants, museums, an amazing array of shops and green luscious parks and last but not least, you will be spoilt for choice with the large choice of pubs where you can taste some of the 400 different beers which are brewed here. There are cafes at almost every corner here, and many high class hotel bars such as bars in the Hilton which are very popular amongst the Belgians. The nightlife starts late here, the clubs tend to fill up at around midnight and they stay open till almost dawn.
