Graz is the capital of Styria and it has been famously linked as being the home to Arnold Schwarzenegger. It was also the Cultural Capital of Europe in 2003. Graz is the second largest city in Austria and it hosts many cultural events such as the contemporary arts exhibition. It’s town centre is listed with UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site. Graz offers the snowy mountains and the thermal spas which go hand in hand. It also offers some great cross country adventures which are becoming increasingly popular with it’s visitors.
The most remarkable architecture in Graz is the Schloss Eggenberg which demonstrates true baroque beauty. Graz hosts the annual Festival of Austrian Film. This has only been hosted for nine years but is becoming internationally known.

Styria is known to be a very diverse province and is a collection of all the other attractions which the other Austrian provinces have to offer.
