Gujarat is a state situated in the west coast of India. It is also referred to as land of Gujjars- a tribe that entered India with the Huns in ancient time, and settled in western India after wandering in the states of Punjab and Rajasthan. The presence of Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Cambay make the climate of the entire state pleasant and healthy; however, it is moist in the southern parts and dry in the northern parts, and has a monsoon season between June to September. Gujrat is a home of numerous renowned temples and monuments remembering the great history and buildings representing the architectural and artistic mind of the people of Gujrat. Apart from this, Gujrat is rich with wildlife sanctuaries, hill resorts, natural grandeur, and religious and pilgrim centres. Ahmedabad and Ghandinagar are two major cities of Gujarat, though other cities also attract lot of industrial attention due to their coastal presence.
