Orissa is a state of India and is situated in the east coast of the country. The major crop of the state is rice (twice a year), as the state receives a regular and heavy rainfall. Orissa is well known for its temples for their architectural beauty and religious heritage, and most popular of these are of Konark, Puri, and Bhubaneswar. Bhubaneswar alone has around a thousand temples. These places are among major tourist destinations in the state, and million of people visit these places every year from around the globe.
