Jilin, a province of the People's Republic of China, is located in the northeastern part of the country. Jilin is bordered with North Korea and Russia in the east, with Liaoning in the north, Heilongjiang in the south, and with Inner Mongolia in the west. The province enjoys a continental monsoon climate, with cold and long winters, whereas summers are warm and short.
